Fighting meat cravings on the 24 day challenge

Hello Readers!

This post is directed at those of you on the second half of your challenge, the MAX phase. You've made it through the cleanse, now you're getting into a routine of eating healthy, probably experiencing way higher energy and starting to get bored with the food you've been routinely eating.

This is one recipe I made the other night. I had a pound of beef to use up that was very lean (95%?) Not everyone chooses to eat beef on their challenge at all. I usually stick to chicken, but I really needed  a "night off". I'm also adapting to eating healthy myself and still making things that my boyfriend doesn't hate as well. (Who eats dinner with me most nights.)

I started off with the following:
1 bunch Parsley

Half a white or Yellow  Onion
One lb. lean beef (the leaner the better) or 1 lb. Ground turkey
One small potato (Any kind)
One Medium Carrot

Let me tell you what I did, guys. I made meatloaf, but I packed it so full of Veggies, that you could barely tell what it was.

You can start out by shaping your meat into more of a circle than a square as it was packaged in a large bowl. I then added a bit of salt and pepper. I chopped up about a cup of Parsley, half the onion , I shredded the carrot into the bowl, and also the potato. I squished all of it together and made a few "mini" meatloaves. I cooked them in the oven at 390 Degrees until they were done. Probably 35-40 minutes, but more or less depending on the heat of your oven or the size of them that you made.

Here is another trick, readers. Cook more than you can eat. When it is finished, put it away in tupper ware containers. This way you wont be pressured to eat more right away. I ate one small piece of it, along with a Giant bowl of salad and i felt extremely satisfied afterwards. By keeping leftovers in your fridge you are actually making it EASIER on you to go home and eat than it is to run into McDonalds. That is the goal here! Eating REAL food.

*Remember, Ground Beef isnt the best pick for the 24 day challenge, but this was just one night, and i didn't stuff myself on it. :) Give it a try, and feel free to add any other veggies you like in also! Try it with ground turkey or chicken if thats what you've got.
